Business Leader, Global Diversity


    A key integration role within the Diversity team, this individual will be responsible for managing the execution and seamless integration of all Diversity deliverables with Global Talent Management and Development (GTM&D) processes to ensure one voice to the employee population.

    The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of project management activities including, but not limited to, project management, strategic alignment, stakeholder enrollment and managing program/process development and execution. In addition, he or she will operate as an internal consultant, driving cross-functional initiatives and is expected to play a critical role in the development of diversity programs in the regional offices.

    Summary of Responsibilities

    • Manage the implementation of Diversity learning initiatives/programs, aligning Diversity strategy with business strategies, streamlining and standardizing policies, practices and processes, transforming the organization to be more inclusive.
    • Manage project plans for the design and implementation of Diversity initiatives/programs by partnering with key Global Diversity and Inclusion Council member stakeholders to drive execution.
    • Ability to drive execution at Senior levels in the Organization.
    • Work closely with all levels of management in a consultative role; providing guidance on strategic leaning and talent management theory; practice; policies; and programs.
    • Align diversity activities with MasterCard's GTM&D strategic goals and approach and identify opportunities for advancing diversity initiatives by leveraging MasterCard GTM&D talent management strategies.

    Required Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Highly skilled and organized Project Manager with experience in executing regional projects for complex organizations.
    • Experience in leading diversity and/or projects/initiatives
    • Must be able to self-direct and work effectively with others at all levels of an organization with team members, senior leaders, and clients.
    • Proven ability to establish rapport and credibility with a wide-range of constituencies.
    • Ability to function in a time-compressed, highly dynamic and potentially ambiguous situation to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
    • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications competencies
    • Ability and willingness to travel

    Job Experience

    10+ years leadership experience and business expertise in several of the following areas: project management, human capital management consulting, project management and strategic planning

    PMP Certification and experience in diversity learning programs is a plus. Prior consulting experience in human capital is highly preferred. Financial services and bankcard industries is a plus.
