Ignite Adoption and Usage with Electronic Version of Consumer Online Bill Payment Marketing Program
The MasterCard RPPS Consumer Online Bill Payment Marketing Program has proven remarkably successful in boosting adoption and usage for our customers. (see related article) Now, that same turnkey program can be delivered even more economically via e-mails and your institution's Web site.

"The electronic-only version simplifies delivery logistics and speeds implementation, allowing customers to launch the program without incurring the printing and distribution costs for paper," says Jennifer Covello, MasterCard RPPS. "Detailed html e-mails, banner ads, and a landing page that functions as a virtual welcome mat offer an alternative to the primary program.

"Just as in the original multimedia version, all the electronic materials are customizable with your institution's name, logo, and contact information," she says.

The electronic-only version leverages the same highly effective strategy and incentive structure as the original program. Consumers who sign up for the online bill-payment service and pay three bills a month via the provider's bill-pay service for three consecutive months receive a $25 cash award, funded by your organization.

MasterCard RPPS plans to offer an optional program component that will allow consumers to choose from several low-cost, high-value incentives. "The program has generated impressive results, spurring adoption and promoting continuing usage among online bill-pay customers," says Covello. "We know this version will prove just as successful."
